What an eyeful!

.................

The impressive heart of Batala beat powerfully for more than 5 hours. It spurred on the 250 players of Mundo Batala during the long march with its rhythm, vigour and strength, communicating its formidable energy to the 800,000 spectators along the route.

A meeting of worlds and ethnicities in an instant of musical communion, samba-reggae, high in colour with, as mestre, a majesterial Giba Goncalves.

Rhythms flowing from one to the next, the exchange of glances and smiles between players, moments of complicity with the public for a fleeting second ...

The joy of participating, of being there and wanting to play right to the end, to transcend the fatigue ...

For the 13 from Massif present, the feeling lives on ...
